01. Purpose of the contract

  • I Like Transfer is a company committed to providing transfer and tour services in the Algarve, operating under all the necessary licenses and authorizations in accordance with the applicable legislation. These Terms and Conditions regulate the contractual relationship between I Like Transfer and the client (you), by virtue of which I Like Transfer acts as the direct provider of transportation services or through contracted companies.
  • By booking on our website, you agree that the contract for the use and provision of the service is between you and I Like Transfer. If the booking is made by an agency or any other person acting on your behalf, that agency or person is deemed to be acting as agent for all passengers using the service, as well as yourself. You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions as well as other information contained on the website.

02. Booking Process: Payment and Contract

  • Reservations: Reservations can be made online on our website or by phone. The person making the reservation (“Responsible Person”) must be at least 18 years old.
  • Payment: Passengers can choose to pay 100% at the time of booking on the website or directly to the driver at the time of service. We are flexible with payment methods and accept payment via PayPal account, debit card and credit card. Once the booking has been confirmed by the client, I Like Transfer will process the booking and send the Responsible Person the details of the transfer services or tours booked and the booking voucher.
  • Confirmation: When the booking is confirmed by the customer, a legally binding contract will be created between the Person in Charge (and all passengers listed on the booking) and I Like Transfer.
  • Responsibility for Information: I Like Transfer or its suppliers cannot be held responsible for the punctuality, accuracy or quality of the services due to incorrect information provided at the time you book the service. It is the responsibility of the Person in Charge (or their agent) to check that all booking details are correct before the trip and to inform I Like Transfer if there are any errors in advance.
  • Additional Costs: If any errors in the information provided by the Person in Charge (or their agent) at the time of booking result in a change in the cost of the services, you will be liable for this cost. In the event that you fail to pay the difference due to incorrect information provided by you, I Like Transfer or our supplier reserves the right to cancel the services without any compensation or refund liability to you.
  • Final Price: The price quoted on our website is the final price and no extra charge will be made to you if the information provided at the time of booking is correct.

03. Child seats

  • We provide baby seats and booster seats pre-installed in our vehicles on request and free of charge. Portuguese law requires that children under the age of 12 and less than 1.50 m tall be transported in appropriate safety seats. If applicable to you, you must provide us with the number of children in the travel group and select the appropriate safety seats during the booking process.

04. Prices for Children

  • All children and babies, regardless of their age, will be taken into account when determining the capacity of the vehicle to be used and must therefore be included in the total number of passengers at the time of booking.

05. Passengers with disabilities

  • In some destinations, we offer transportation services for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. We recommend contacting our customer service department before booking a vehicle of this type.

06. Amendments

  • Changes to the reservation can be made free of charge up to 24 hours before the use of the first service contained in any confirmed reservation. Changes made less than 24 hours before must be communicated by e-mail to booking@iliketransfer.pt . Changes may result in extra charges.

07. Cancellations

  • Cancellations by the Customer:
  • - Cancellations must be made by you using our website or by sending an e-mail to booking@iliketransfer.pt . Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the service date will be fully refunded. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before will not be refunded.

  • Cancellations by the Company:
  • - In extraordinary cases, if we are forced to make a significant change to the conditions of service or to cancel the service, we will make every effort to find viable alternatives to any confirmed booking that we must cancel. If we are finally forced to cancel your booking, you will be refunded the full amount of the booking and this refund will cover all obligations to the customer arising from such cancellation.

08. Reserved vehicles

  • We strive to respect our customers' preferences regarding the vehicle they choose. However, the vehicle may be replaced by one with a larger capacity or by several vehicles, depending on availability.

09. Luggage

  • Vehicles used for private transfers have capacity for at least 1 medium suitcase per passenger seat, which must not exceed 70cm x 50cm. At the time of booking, you must inform us of the luggage to be transported. It is not necessary to declare smaller items of luggage, such as cameras, bags or small backpacks. The passenger will be responsible for any costs incurred in the event of the need for additional vehicles to transport undeclared baggage.
  • The transportation of luggage and other personal items is at your own risk and neither I Like Transfer nor our supplier will be liable for any damage or loss.
  • Pets are allowed, but they must be transported in appropriate travel boxes.

10. Services

  • We offer private tours and transfers.
  • We cannot guarantee the exact route to your destination and all information provided on our website, such as and not limited to route maps, is for information purposes only. We strive to ensure that pick-up and drop-off times are respected, but we cannot guarantee them.
  • If you can't find the driver, call the supplier immediately. You can find the supplier's telephone number on your transfer voucher. If you arrange alternative transportation without notifying us, the supplier will be released from their obligation to provide the service and no money will be refunded.
  • If the driver of your private transfer is unable to contact you, he will send a message or call the cell phone number you provided when booking. Please make sure you travel with this cell phone and that it is switched on, connecting to the Wi-Fi internet network whenever possible. If he is unable to contact you on the phone number provided, we will not be able to provide the service and no refund will be made.
  • Unused transfers are non-refundable, and the costs of alternative transport will only be refunded if they have been pre-authorized by a member of our team. If you are authorized for alternative transportation, please make sure to obtain and send us an invoice/receipt so that we can review it. Transportation costs related to claims that do not attach valid invoices/receipts will not be reimbursed.
  • The supplier will pick you up and drop you off as close as possible to the directions provided. If access via a regular route is closed due to weather conditions, traffic accidents, etc., the supplier will, in accordance with your express request, take an alternative route to reach the agreed destination; in such cases, additional costs may be generated for you.
  • At some destinations or due to road works or any other circumstances, you may be dropped off or picked up at a central point within a reasonable short distance of your final destination.
  • If you expect not to be at the designated meeting point at the time specified at the time of booking or if your flight, ship or train has been canceled, you should contact the supplier using the contact telephone number provided on your voucher.
  • All transportation services contracted are covered by the civil liability policy of the supplier or the company subcontracted by them.

11. Your Responsibility

  • By signing this contract, you implicitly declare that:
  • 1. You are over 18 years of age and are in full use of your mental faculties and are therefore qualified to assume the legal responsibilities arising from this contract and that you are aware of the services that are the subject of this contract, the information about the company and the content of these General Conditions.

    2. You declare that the credit or debit cards used to make the reservation are your property and that they have sufficient funds to cover the total amounts of the reservation.

    3. You understand that you must notify us as soon as possible of any changes to the data you have provided.

    4. You are responsible for providing the necessary documentation to cross borders. We assume no responsibility and refuse to incur additional costs caused by failure to provide such documents or to comply with the customs, police, tax or administrative regulations of the countries to which access is requested. Our voucher is not a valid document for obtaining an entry visa.

    5. You are responsible for checking the established pick-up time and ensuring that you arrive at the airport, station or port with enough time to check in.

  • The services will be provided in accordance with the information you have provided and which has been sent to you by e-mail. It is your responsibility to provide complete and correct directions to pick-up points and destinations at the time of booking. It is also your responsibility to print and check the accuracy of the transfer voucher. If the information on the voucher is incorrect, you must contact our Customer Service team immediately for rectification. We are not responsible for bookings that are impossible to make due to insufficient or erroneous information provided by you and no refunds will be made for such bookings.
  • We reserve the right not to accept further bookings from a customer who has repeatedly caused a major incident or incidents.

12. Our Responsibility

  • In the event of a breach of these conditions, we shall only be liable for damages or losses that are a consequence attributable to our default or negligence, and at most for the full amount paid by you. We are not liable for damages that are not directly attributable to us or caused by accident, force majeure or caused by legal or administrative requirements.
  • We cannot be held liable in the event that the performance of our obligations or those of the transport operator is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of a force majeure event or any circumstance beyond our control, including, but not limited to, cases such as extreme weather events, natural disasters, terrorism, third party accidents along the transfer route, police controls, extraordinary traffic congestion or strikes.

13. Complaints

  • If the service you receive does not meet your expectations, you must notify our Customer Service immediately. Written complaints must be sent by e-mail to quality@iliketransfer.pt no later than 28 days after the date of your return. In the event of any unsatisfactory service, I Like Transfer or our supplier may provide the affected customer with a refund of the relevant costs incurred by the customer in reaching the destination, upon presentation of all supporting expense documentation.

14. Passenger conduct

  • By formalizing this contract, you tacitly grant I Like Transfer and the supplier the right to refuse the service to any passenger who, according to the driver's criteria, is:
  • 1. Under the influence of alcohol or drugs;

    2. Whose conduct could be considered dangerous for the driver of the vehicle, for third parties or for themselves.

  • Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in I Like Transfer vehicles for consumption during the journey. This prohibition also applies to narcotics. Smoking and eating are not allowed in the vehicle.

15. Travel Insurance

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover you have purchased is suitable for your specific needs. We strongly recommend that you read the details of your insurance policy carefully and take them with you on your vacation.

16. Modifications to the Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and notified to customers by email or other appropriate means. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

17. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content on the I Like Transfer website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips and software, is the property of I Like Transfer or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of I Like Transfer and protected by international copyright laws.

18. Links to Third Party Sites

  • Our website may contain links to other websites operated by third parties. These links are provided for your convenience only. I Like Transfer does not control these sites and is not responsible for the content or the privacy or other practices of these sites. The inclusion of links to such sites does not imply any endorsement of the material on those sites or any association with their operators.

19. Working Hours

  • Our private cab service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round. We apply the same prices on weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

20. Jurisdiction

  • These General Conditions will be governed by Portuguese law. The contract agreed between you and I Like Transfer shall be governed by Portuguese law. Disputes or claims arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.

21. Privacy

  • I Like Transfer's Privacy Policy has been developed to reaffirm our commitment to protecting the information we collect from users. This policy covers I Like Transfer's treatment of data to identify a user, whether collected directly on the website or by other means such as customer service or phone calls. Integrity of the agreement

  • These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and I Like Transfer with respect to the use of the Services and supersede all prior understandings or agreements, written or oral, relating to such subject matter. No waiver of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall apply unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of I Like Transfer.
